Public bug reported:

When I am not focused on a chat and I receive a message, the message
menu should have the sender's name and also light up blue. It does
neither of these, although it still displays the notify OSD bubbles with
the incoming message. This was not a problem when on Ubuntu 11.04.

My preferences are as follows:
General > Display incoming events in the notification area
Notification > Enable bubble notifications, Disable notifications when away or
busy, Enable notifications when the chat is not focused.

This occurs on a fully updated Ubuntu 11.10 with Empathy 3.2.0-0ubuntu1.
