Public bug reported: In previous versions, I was able to load an xml file to get a slideshow as background. Now, the "add wallpaper" browser only shows only jpeg files so I can't select the background1.xml file.
By default, there is one background1.xml file installed in the "contest" directory. So the feature still exists, but I am unable to use it ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.2.0-0ubuntu6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Oct 18 22:28:50 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release amd64 (20101007) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-control-center UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-10-14 (4 days ago) usr_lib_gnome-control-center: deja-dup 20.0-0ubuntu3 gnome-bluetooth 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 indicator-datetime 0.3.0-0ubuntu3 ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug oneiric running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877728 Title: can't run customized photo show as background To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/877728/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
