Further use shows that the odd time behavior does, in fact, persist in Evolution 3.2.0 on Oneiric, at least for evolution-mapi. Yesterday I was CC'ed on another invitation for the same 1:30 PM meeting I had previously accepted. This duplicate information was distributed via WebEx, to provide the call-in information for those out of the office. The WebEx meeting information did not display as 1:30 PM in Evolution. Rather, this meeting was displayed as 9:30 AM! Since I was skeptical, but yet concerned that there was a second meeting earlier in the morning, I restarted the machine to open Windoze and view the Calendar in Outlook. Sure enough, the meeting was displayed correctly, and slotted correctly in the Outlook Calendar as a second meeting at 1:30PM!
I do not get the functionality I need out of Thunderbird added with Oneiric (and although I do use Thunderbird on another computer at home under Windows 7, I do not like the UI in Linux.) And I am getting very frustrated with the reliability of Evolution in my office use. It is hard to believe that OWA provides a better user experience! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/845760 Title: Evolution meeting requests have wrong times To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/845760/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
