Well I would have to say no, if you look at the attachments that I
included that have the screen shots of the disk utility. It seems as if
the media is being recognized but not automatically mounted and
unmounted when installed and removed. It wasn't even recognizing the
media when I made the bug report so I don't know what's changed there.
As far as the automatic mount and unmount goes, I guess it's not that
big a deal since I can do it from the disk utility. I would assume
there's a way to do it in the terminal, but I don't know the command for
it. What's puzzling to me is that it's just this one particular drive is
the only one having this particular problem. The one directly below it,
will recognize the media and automatically mount and unmount  every time
with no problem. It will automatically mount a disk if there's one in
the drive at bootup, Friday; it mounted one time after bootup. I ejected
it and pushed it right back in and it didn't mount it the second time.
It seems to be an intermittent problem that seems to get worse the
longer the computer runs for some reason.
