I don't like the "Ubuntu Software Center" and I prefer use Synaptic/aptitude to 
remote packages and gdebi to open the local deb packages.
I want select gdebi like default app to deb packages but I can't.
I attach one screenshot with the contextual menu of a deb package. In it you 
can see that gdebi is showed and selectable but it isn't the default app.
In another screenshot you can see that gdebi isn't in the list of apps 
available for deb packages.
