Public bug reported:
At the start of my (unity-2d) session, indicator-sound and sound settings and
the multimedia keys work, everything is fine.
After a while, none of the above are true. Sound still works, I can change the
volume with alsamixer, but the indicator, the multimedia buttons, and
sound-settings no longer work.
