Public bug reported:

When I start the search function of unity and try to switch the search
folder to filesystem it automatically switches to dev.

The problem is that with normal user priviledges the search stops at the
first file on which a normal user has no read access to with an error.
That's mades the search function useless.

I have figure arround until it really point on filesystem(don't ask
how): Then search works prober. No error occures.
