In Ubuntu 12.04 Glade freezes about once every 5 to 10 minutes while in use. I've not noticed any pattern to what causes it to freeze (not very - helpful for a bug report :( ), except it only seems to freeze while in - use. + helpful for a bug report), except it only seems to freeze while in use + (as opposed to freezing while in the background). When it freezes, it becomes unresponsive and doesn't redraw itself if the window is resized. This is the file I was editing when glade crashed most recently. https://github.com/ccouzens/Totem-Music- Library/blob/fa29467c347a56c36eb3109bd3cb3837b715e469/musiclibrary.ui ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: glade-gtk2 3.8.0-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-10.17-generic 3.2.1 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-10-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.91-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 CrashCounter: 1 Date: Mon Jan 23 21:43:01 2012 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/glade-gtk2 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta amd64+mac (20110901) ProcCmdline: glade-gtk2 ProcEnviron: - LANGUAGE=en_GB:en - PATH=(custom, no user) - LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash + LANGUAGE=en_GB:en + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash SegvAnalysis: - Segfault happened at: 0x7fc1d2d3d155 <g_type_check_instance+21>: mov (%rax),%rdi - PC (0x7fc1d2d3d155) ok - source "(%rax)" (0x00000002) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! - destination "%rdi" ok + Segfault happened at: 0x7fc1d2d3d155 <g_type_check_instance+21>: mov (%rax),%rdi + PC (0x7fc1d2d3d155) ok + source "(%rax)" (0x00000002) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! + destination "%rdi" ok SegvReason: reading NULL VMA Signal: 11 SourcePackage: glade-3 StacktraceTop: - g_type_check_instance () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgobject-2.0.so.0 - g_signal_handlers_disconnect_matched () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgobject-2.0.so.0 - ??
