Can you say me if you are on "ubuntu regular", ubuntu + gnome 3, ubuntu + KDE + rythmbox, or anything else... Im now on ArchLinux. So... you can try this: - Full update - Log-out then login.. try... if the bug persist : - Check if an other audio-server is installed.
