Public bug reported:

Every CD (or DVD) I burn in Brasero fails. The cheksum retourn an error,
and the disk is unreadable by any PC. I had this problem in Ubuntu 11.10
and I is still happening in Ubuntu 12.04. I tested in two notebooks
(Toshiba m305 and HP Envy 14) with the same results in both. K3B works
fine in this PCs.

I think this is a pretty serious issue, because an uninformed user may
loss data because of this.
