= SD CARD = Unity shows "Eject" Nautilus shows "Unmount" = USB DISK = Unity shows "Eject" and "Safely Remove Drive" Nautilus shows "Eject" and "Safely Remove Drive" Neither SD Card or USB Disk devices actually"Eject". What actually happens: SD - User inserts/clicks the card into reader. After **Unmounting** the card, the user must pull/click the card out USB - User inserts the drive into USB socket. After **Safely Removing** the drive, the user must pull the drive out [1] eicio - From ē (“out of”), short form of ex, + iaciō (“throw, hurl”). http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/eicio#Latin ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: nautilus 1:3.3.91-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-19.30-generic-pae 3.2.11 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-19-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: wl ApportVersion: 1.94.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 19 21:13:32 2012 GsettingsChanges: org.gnome.nautilus.window-state geometry '800x540+121+24' InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Alpha i386 (20120222) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/959868 Title: Please respect the meaning of the word "Eject" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/959868/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
