EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: I expect the keys on my keyboard to match with what is shown on the screen when I type. For example, <my Dell 910 was originally sold in Spain, so has a Spanish keyboard, with keys for special Spanish Characters (such as Á ¿ é í ó ü ñ ú) I have a key ñ next to my L key! BEHAVIOUR ENCOUNTERED: nothing changes, and my keyboard is still set to Ubuntu US-ENGLISH keyboard (Shift 2 gives @ character, Shift 9 gives Open Parenthesis character ( and Shift 0 gives CLOSE PARENTHESIS character ) So, that dialog is broken and not working I have attached screenshots ** Attachment added: "Step 4" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/973639/+attachment/3009399/+files/Screenshot%20of%20Keyboard%20layout%20dialog%20that%20is%20not%20working.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973639 Title: Keyboard / Regional Settings not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/973639/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
