I can confirm the same behaviour with Shotwell 0.10.1 running on Ubuntu 11.04 and accessing its library via a Samba share on a server running 11.10. The machines are connected via gigabit Ethernet.
In the past I may have started Shotwell when the SMB share was unavailable, so I'm not surprised to see some files in "missing files", but on running Shotwell with everything mounted, there are still some 100 photos in Missing files. I'm able to find them all in Nautilus by hand. Further info, the share is mounted in fstab with RW permissions and as mentioned before, is the location that Shotwell's library is in. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to shotwell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/673049 Title: files on a shared (smb) device remain in "missing files" even when device becomes available again To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/shotwell/+bug/673049/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
