Public bug reported:
Due to similarity of the font color and background color the gedit
embedded terminal (from package gedit-plugins) is unreadable. On some
displays it looks as if it doesnt work.
Workaround:
-run dconf-editor
-go to org->gnome->plugins
-uncheck option "use-theme-colors"
