Public bug reported:
As in summary, opening Sound settings and going to Input tab, there are
no entries in "Record sound from" list related to internal sound card.
The sound card is recognized by alsa and pulseaudio (info attached) and
curiously it appears starting gnome-control-center within GNOME Shell
session (i.e. starting the upstream Sound capplet).
