I verified this is still a problem with rhythmbox on up to date 12.04 if I remove 'never_transcode = ogg,mpeg' from mt-daapd.conf. Attached is updated debug output when using: $ GST_DEBUG=:5 rhythmbox --debug > /tmp/lp-921071_debug-with-gst_debug5.log
