This is a bug from 2009, but could it be that this is still a problem when using autologin?
I used the tutorial https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuLTSP/AutoLoginFeatures, which works. The problem is when thin client users want to shut down their system, they are brought out to the login screen for a second and then immediately logged back in automatically to the desktop. How should I be shutting down the thin clients?
