Public bug reported:

I have done everything I know that I need to do in order to share files.

The computer "HP-Compaq-dc7600-Small-Form-Fac" is the computer which has
the files I want to share.

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System
-> About Ubuntu

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy
pkgname' or by checking in Software Center

gnome-user-share 3.0.2-0ubuntu1

3) What you expected to happen

I expected to see the shared files, and to be able to copy or open them

4) What happened instead

The attachment "1 Screenshot of shared files" shows the files. One file
is a png image file, and the other two files are links to external disk
drives.

The attachment "2 Screenshot" shows what is seen on the network by the
other computer.

When double-clicking "el_gallo_azul...(etc)" the first time, nothing can
be seen to happen.

When double-clicking "el_gallo_azul...(etc)" the SECOND time, I get the
error message shown in the attached file "3 Screenshot".
