Public bug reported:

The Python bindings for GIO do not provide the method
Gio.File.copy_async() (but Gio.File.copy_finish() is there):

>>> from gi.repository import Gio
>>> [s for s in dir(Gio.File) if 'copy' in s.lower()]
['copy', 'copy_attributes', 'copy_finish']
