Public bug reported: Hi,
I installed Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal pre-release on my laptop via Wubi - I have no idea why Wubi installed a version that was not stable.. The OS does not recognize my wireless adapter. I tried all steps in Ubuntu Help, but it was not useful. I reinstalled Precise Pangolin and installed Realtek driver from a dropbox link to get it working (Source: http://askubuntu.com/questions/139632/wireless-card-realtek-rtl8723ae- bt-is-not-recognized) Please check this out. -- Thanks, Ramakrishnan RS ** Affects: gnome-nettool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-nettool in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054415 Title: Wireless driver not detected in Quantal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-nettool/+bug/1054415/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
