>From a feature freeze point of view I have no problem with this, as long as it is tested by some people to do what is expected (stage in a PPA once merged upstream for testing).
The docs team will need to sign off that any screenshots or text they have describing this feature will be updated. As for translations, if it's possible to re-use strings we already have translated that would be ideal. The translators will be able to comment more. Please could you mail both lists (docs and translators), as is the process for UIFe requests? And then update the description with a link to the mails in the web archives. And putting it in "Privacy" seems to me far more intuitive than "Appearance". I don't think I'd consider looking in the latter for this kind of setting. I'm going to reset all of the Ubuntu tasks to New so that the last of docs or translators can update to Triaged if/when they approve this. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Triaged => New ** Changed in: libunity (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Triaged => New ** Changed in: unity-lens-applications (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Triaged => New ** Changed in: unity-lens-music (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Triaged => New ** Changed in: unity-lens-shopping (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Confirmed => New ** Changed in: unity-scope-video-remote (Ubuntu Quantal) Status: Triaged => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054746 Title: [FFe] [UIFe] No easy way to disable (results from) this lens To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libunity/+bug/1054746/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
