** Attachment added: "Example of glyph being truncated." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1063187/+attachment/3382034/+files/Screenshot%20from%202012-09-09%2010%3A30%3A07.png
** Description changed: Using Rhythmbox on 12.04 with the default system fonts certain words do not display correctly. Please see attached screenshot, particularly the 'by Hugh...' element, - the 'y' and the 'g' have the lower elements of the glyphs truncated. + the 'y' and the 'g' have the lower elements of the glyphs truncated. You + can clearly see that the 'g' almost resembles a lower case 'a' due to + the truncation issue. + + I simply thought that the meta-data was input wrong, but the 'by' also + has the 'y' looking almost 'v' shaped. Possibly to do with gtk widget re-sizing, but I'm just taking a wild stab in the dark. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063187 Title: rhythmbox fonts are not displayed correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1063187/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
