Public bug reported:
My wifi card, the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 stopped working after
upgrading to 12.10 from 12.04, where it worked straight out of the box. It
will connect to wireless networks, but it will not receive internet access
through them.
I don't believe it's a matter of disabling 802.11N, because I've tried "sudo
modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" and "sudo modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=0" but
there is no difference between the two settings.
Here is the output of "dmesg | grep iwl" and "lshw -C network" (the part
pertaining to wlan0.)
dmesg | grep iwl
