Ubuntu 12.10 and evince 3.6.0-0ubuntu2, fresh install, fully updated (21 november): this still seems to work flakey. Launch one document, maximize, close Launch another document: it is launched maximized: OK. Close Launch a third document: it is launched unmaximized, although it fills the screen. Expectation: it should launch maximized.
