As i get the same issue daily since a long long time, i think its coming from either synaptic or more probably from metacity (or one of their dependencies). But that report is so old, and gdm (no more used by default), unity-2d (that package(s) cant be blamed, i dont use it) and metacity is on the way to be dropped on the next releases.
@Rolf : what you can do is to clean your system as much as you can (deborphan/bleachbit) and delete some borked config folders (they are cleanly recreated on the next boot) like: .gconf, .local, .config, .gnome2 ; and tweak logrotate if you get too huge log files. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561540 Title: Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/synaptic/+bug/561540/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
