Thank you for your bug report, that's because the indicator loads
"indicator-datetime" which is only available under Unity, not sure how
to best resolve that since the GNOME remix guys probably want to keep
displaying the GNOME upstream version.
We could make g-c-c translate "datetime" to "indicator-datetime"
automatically under Unity (as we do for other panels) and just make
indicator-datetime call "datetime", that would half resolve the issue
only though since you would then get a panel to load but not the version
which contains the settings for the indicator...
