Public bug reported:

with lucid and precise

the nautilus left panel shows both connected network folders and
bookmarked network folders but on clicking a bookmarked network folder
the navigation bar shows the 'real' path not the bookmarked path

example

An employee (username = prosserg) has made a connection to a network
folder eg 'prosserg on esther2' from their bookmarks by opening a
bookmarked folder named 'H Drive' which is //esther2/prosserg.

Subsequently when file browsing

a) on clicking 'H Drive' in the left panel, the navigation bar first
button says 'prosserg on esther2'

WHY can't this button say 'H Drive' ie the NAME of the bookmark ?

b) it is confusing to see, in the left panel, BOTH the bookmark name 'H
Drive' AND the connected network drive 'prosserg on esther2' listed
since they are the same folder

'H Drive' is of course windows-speak but for migrators from say XP to
Ubuntu, the nautilus insistence on displaying the 'real' name of the
connection rather than the bookmark name, significantly adds to
confusion.

I have had several employees experience difficulty locating files as a
result of this current behaviour.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
