Public bug reported: Reroduce: (Ubuntu 13.04 B1)
1.- Connect an MTP device, I used an android device. 2.- mount a samba share , like smb://server/share 3.- try to copy a file from the mounted SMB share, to MTP device. - you will get an error message. - copy from local file system to MTP works fine. I am very glad that you finally added mtp as a standard part of Ubuntu. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157583 Title: Unable to copy files from samba share to gvfsd-mtp mounted device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1157583/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
