Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2, adding the brightness applet, hover over it I
see the tooltip message "Cannot get laptop panel brightness".
The brightness soft buttons (Fn+Up, Fn+Down) work fine.
Any further info I can provide?
