Public bug reported:
Trying to convert a FLV video file with a H264 stream through gst-launch to an
OGG with theora results in a fail, but only if multipass mode is used. Since it
is a recent feature of theora codec, but useful to reduce the output file size,
maybe it is to be supported better..
This is the command I used: "gst-launch -v filesrc
location=./MyFLVwithH264File.flv ! flvdemux ! queue ! h264parse ! ffdec_h264 !
ffmpegcolorspace ! queue ! theoraenc multipass-mode=first-pass
multipass-cache-file=/tmp/theora.temp ! queue ! oggmux ! filesink
location=MyOGGOutputFile.ogv 1> theoratry.log 2>&1"
