I've been running Ubuntu for about 7 months now, and currently have 12.10 running on a Dell Precision M90. I am experiencing this problem with my NAS. The files copied fine but when I try to read or copy the other way (to my computer from the NAS) with large directories the Nautilus hangs.
Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to follow through on this fix? It is not entirely clear to me how to do this. One thing I should mention, I've only been into the command line a few times, so I'm pretty new to the Linux world. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1075923 Title: nautilus hangs copying large directories from a samba share To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gvfs/+bug/1075923/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
