@Sebastien Bacher: complaints *will* continue because many readers of this 
thread feel that the team does not realize how serious the situation is. In the 
current release the language layout handling mechanism is broken. Completely. 
Irreversibly. God knows how long it will take the team to build a new one. I 
personally am very pessimistic in this respect. 
And you say downgrading is not an option. For many of us it simply means 
'good-bye, Ubuntu'. For the time being I'm sticking with 13.04 which ain't a 
piece of cake, either. Come April, I might have to ditch all my Ubuntu 
expertise and go look elsewhere, and learn something new as if I haven't learnt 
enough...
The bug is not "annoying" as you put it; @Lockal is quite right: the bug is 
*Critical* big time, alarmingly so since it crept into release.
