Public bug reported:

When I put my laptop to sleep (or hibernate), the screen lock is always
in the "timed out" state when I come back. I get the gnome screen lock
window with the password prompt disabled stating "timed out," and have
to wait for it to time out before I can hit a key and enter my password.

The machine is very fast at coming out of suspend, so I don't think this
is a timing issue. Though it's broken even if it's a timing issue. :-)

The correct behavior is to show the prompt with the timer just starting
(or with a long timer). Note that it would be confusing to show
nothing, as some other operating systems do, since a black screen on a
laptop looks pretty much like it's turned off.

** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu)
