Public bug reported:
When I try to adjust the volume using my multimedia keys on my Asus Laptop they
wrong volume is adjusted. The "Headset" volume is adjusted but makes no
changes to the speaker volume. I have set the volume applet to adjust the
correct volume but would like to know how to adjust the volume from my
multimedia keys to avoid the volume control applet all together.

Laptop is an Asus A7f Series with an snd-hda-intel sound driver.
