Public bug reported:
I recently installed pavucontrol, and everytime I run it the entire
Gnome session hangs after a few seconds. The mouse pointer will still
move, but the window manager and all windows are frozen. System still
runs though, as I can access the other virtual terminals just fine.
Nothing gets printed to /var/log/syslog when this happens.
I'm tagging this as a problem in gnome-session, but I realise it may
well be in pulseaudio or the audio driver.
