Public bug reported:
Keeping unit preferences as "Default" would logically honour the current
locale settings. However, setting them to Default causes everything to
show up as "Unknown". After a restart (clean or otherwise) of the
applet, the units return to their explicit values of "Celsius", "m/s",
etc.
Sorry, I didn't know whether this bug belongs in gnome-applets or gnome-
applets2.
