Public bug reported:
Ubuntu Feisty Herd 3 .
When proxy used and activated into the "Control Center" all looks fine
... but if you disable them by checking "direct internet connection" ...
the setting continue to be present, event for apt-xxxx .
Reboot required to apply the correct value.
