I discovered a solution which worked for me. It is from this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgFoWmeFqaI . All you have to do is : 1- Install PulseAudio Volume Control from Ubuntu Software Center 2- Open it and select Configuration tab 3- Switch the paired Bluetooth device's Profile from Off to A2DP At the moment, it seems you may have to repeat steps 2 and 3 every time you connect the bluetooth device or open a music app.
