Hello Shu, or anyone else affected, Accepted gnome-settings-daemon into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- settings-daemon/3.8.6.1-0ubuntu11.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
