I think you're always gonna have to choose the BT headset, because you just mounted it. If you're using ubuntu in sound settings you can set a2dp, provided its already active(as in set through blueman or whatnot). Also bear in mind that having a2dp means no mic on the headset, you have to use the other one for that.
