Windows Explorer allows for users to set a default view to all folders. In almost the same way, Ubuntu's Files Manager allows for these settings: Set File BrowserClick the Files icon on the Launcher. >From the menu, click "Edit" then "Preferences". Under Default View, change "Icon View" to "List View", to see more details in columns.
