so the root cause of the media-hub issues is thot to be that notifications is a client of media hub (so lots of create/destroy) which in turn leaves dead objs on dbus which results in the mutex lock signature seen in comment #4. There is a fix for this, branches linked. It is currently attempting to land in rtm silo 13
