Some widget (probably a custom one from empathy) reported a negative minimum size, resulting in gtk to abort on an assertion. So this is not really a gtk issue. Since it is quite old and I cannot reproduce it in newer versions, I'll close it.
If this is still a problem for anyone, feel free to reopen this bug and add empathy as being affected. ** Changed in: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/803627 Title: empathy crashed with signal 5 in gtk_box_size_allocate() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/803627/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
