Public bug reported:
The Shotwell sidebar cannot be resized properly. It is not possible to
drag the sidebar smaller than the longest entry of the latest month in
the "events" section, please compare the attached screenshot. I used
"test----------------->" as an example entry to demonstrate the bug.
