Where did you get gedit 3.14.1-0ubuntu1~vivid1?
Depending on what you did exactly the fix will be in that PPA - please
contact its owner. I'm afraid that you've ended up on the official
Ubuntu bug tracker and we can't fix problems in PPAs.
In the meantime you should be able to remove the package completely and
then reinstall it from Ubuntu.
