Followup to my #23, I traced: strace -e open brasero 2>&1 | grep libdvdcss
and found that I had a copy of libdvdcss.so in /usr/local/lib After removing this, it finds the library in /usr/lib, and I no longer experience this problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/611590 Title: Brasero keeps on asking for libdvdcss.so.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/611590/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
