Public bug reported:
In Image Viewer (eog 3.10.2-0ubuntu5.1, running Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa,
but with the 4.4.0 kernel), I'm noticing a weird behavior when I delete
an image from within Image Viewer. I'll be scanning through multiple
files (hitting Next, Next, Next) and wanting to delete a few of them.
1. The first time in a session that I delete a photo, no problem. Upon
deleting Photo A, the program will automatically advance to the next Photo B.
2. Scan through more photos... Photo C, which I want to keep, then Next again.
3. Now I want to delete some subsequent photo D. I hit the Delete button on
the keyboard...
4. It pops up 'Are you sure you want to move "Photo D" to the trash?', which is
expected and correct. The bug is that while this dialog is open the viewer goes
back to showing photo B. This is very troubling because I wanted to keep photo
B.
5. When I hit "Yes", the dialog closes and the program automatically advances
to Photo E, the one after Photo D was. (This is correct.)
Note that even though the program shows the wrong image while the dialog
is open, the correct image (Photo D) is the one that's deleted.
