Public bug reported:
When I manually enter the proxy details in the settings applet (e.g. the
"http proxy" address and port) the standard environment variabled (n
this case "http_proxy") are set automatically which programs like wget
and instsaller packages like "flashplayer_nonfree" need. But when I
configure my proxy using a .pac file in this dialog, the variables
aren't set at all. GConf proxy settings are still applied so GNOME
programs can use them, but programs relying on the environment variables
don't work in this case. This should be fixed IMHO.
