Public bug reported:

When I tried to boot my Ubuntu machine this morning, it dropped into
emergency mode.

It did the same after rebooting.

Logs showed

=====

Removing these two final entries from /etc/fstab and rebooting solved
it.

/dev/dvd /dvd iso9660 ro 0 0
/dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 ro 0 0

Seems the same as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1455683, but that
was marked WONTFIX two years ago. Also not clear why it just started
happening.
