Public bug reported:

With Ubuntu 16.04 and evolution 3.18.5.2 I observed that two line breaks
(between my message and quotation) are removed after sending the message if I
reply to a message. This happens with plain text messages since I updated from
Ubuntu 14.04 3 weeks ago, I checked it in the "Sent" folder.

Examples:
I wrote:
"test1

test2

test3

In addition, in one message the line brakes were removed within my text. I
wrote:
"...freundlichen Kontakt und die hilfreichen Telefongespräche.

Liebe Grüße
